Award-winning artist and stage designer Es Devlin will serve as Artistic Director for the 2026 Ball, transforming the Museum through a concept inspired by its major autumn exhibitions. Following the success of the inaugural Ball in 2025, demand for tickets and hospitality is expected to be high.

What is the purpose of the British Museum Ball?

The British Museum Ball is organised to raise funds for the Museum’s future development and public programmes. Proceeds from the 2026 event will support the British Museum Masterplan, a project focused on restoring its historic buildings, improving the galleries, protecting the collection, and creating a better visitor experience.
