new Dior Spa in Venice

The new Dior Spa in Venice has opened at Hotel Cipriani, A Belmond Hotel, introducing a permanent wellness destination shaped by Dior’s beauty expertise and the cultural character of the lagoon city. Opened on 15 July 2026, the spa welcomes hotel residents and outside visitors daily from 10 am to 7 pm. Its design, treatments, and private experiences reflect Venetian craftsmanship, masked balls, and the city’s enduring connection to water.

The first Dior Spa in Venice marks the latest collaboration between the Maison and Hotel Cipriani, following its seasonal Dioriviera pop-up. The spa also forms part of the hotel’s wider renovation led by architect and interior designer Peter Marino.

Dior Haute Wellness philosophy arrives in a setting shaped by Venetian glamour, combining advanced skincare, specialist techniques, and rituals inspired by the city’s traditions.

Guests do not need to be staying at Hotel Cipriani to visit. The spa is open to both resident and non-resident guests, making it possible to incorporate a treatment or private wellness experience into a wider Venice itinerary.

Inside the new Dior Spa in Venice

Natural materials and pastel tones are combined with Dior’s established design codes and traditional Venetian techniques such as stucco and terrazzo.

The interiors reinterpret Venetian Rococo, mid-century design, and contemporary influences, giving the spa a strong sense of place without recreating the past.

Facilities at the new luxury spa in Venice include:

  • Two floors dedicated to beauty and wellness
  • Five private treatment cabins
  • An exclusive Dior beauty boutique
  • Dior perfume, skincare, and makeup collections
  • An entrance connected to the Casanova Gardens and Hotel Cipriani’s swimming pool

The connection to the gardens introduces natural light and greenery into the arrival experience, creating a transition between the hotel’s outdoor spaces and the quieter treatment areas inside.

Venetian-inspired treatments at Dior Spa Venice

Dior describes its approach as the science of Haute Wellness, bringing together skincare knowledge, advanced technology, and signature manual techniques. Its three central principles are High Definition, High Technology, and High Touch.

The spa also offers Dior Measurements, a consultation using the Cortex skin-analysis device. Dior Wellness Experts can assess factors such as hydration, elasticity, pH, and collagen levels before adapting the treatment protocol to the guest’s individual requirements.

The wider menu includes established Dior treatments such as New Look, D-Tissue, Constellation, Kobi-Dior, Golden Aura, and Dior Powered by Hydrafacial. Three signature rituals were created specifically for Hotel Cipriani, taking inspiration from Venice’s mask-making heritage, grand occasions, and theatrical traditions.

Mascarade facial

This facial takes its name from Venice’s traditional mascareri, the craftspeople responsible for creating the city’s distinctive masks. The treatment combines manual facial techniques with skincare technology to work on texture, facial contours, and radiance.

The treatment combines abdominal stimulation, LED therapy, diamond abrasion, myofascial techniques, a Dior Prestige mask, Biosonix technology, massage, microcurrent stimulation, and cryotherapy to refresh and hydrate the skin.

Designed to prepare the complexion for makeup, Mascarade may be particularly relevant before a gala, wedding, private celebration or major Venice event.

Grand Bal

This is a personalised preparation ritual created for important evenings and special occasions. It combines beauty treatments with hairstyling and makeup, allowing several stages of preparation to take place within one coordinated experience.

The ritual begins with scalp care and a purifying facial, followed by treatments for the hands. Hairstyling and professional makeup are then completed with a selected fragrance.

Grand Bal is well suited to Venice’s film premieres, weddings, and formal events, combining hair, facial, and makeup services in one coordinated experience.

Théâtre Corporel

This is a four-hand body ritual performed by two Dior Wellness Experts working in synchronisation. Rooted in Ayurvedic philosophy, the treatment uses coordinated movement to release tension and restore a sense of balance between the body and mind.

The experience combines exfoliation, guided breathing, warm aromachological oils, myofascial techniques, and controlled stretching to ease tension and restore balance.

Private wellness experiences on the Venetian Lagoon

The new Dior Spa in Venice extends beyond its treatment rooms through two holistic experiences created with international wellness specialists. These sessions connect Dior’s approach to wellbeing with the movement, atmosphere, and scenery of Venice.

Self Alignment Cruise

The cruise combines journalling, visualisation, and meditation to reconnect guests with their bodies and surroundings. It concludes with light Venetian drinks and functional snacks as the senses are gradually reawakened.

Grounding Movement Therapy

The multisensory session combines controlled Pilates-based movements with guided breathing, helping guests work on mobility, coordination, and balance.

The practice ends with a tea ceremony and includes access to an additional Pilates session and curated sound-bath playlist, allowing guests to continue the practice after leaving the spa.

Dior and Hotel Cipriani’s Connection to Venice

The spa builds on a longer connection between Dior and Venice. Christian Dior’s affection for the city dates back to 1951, when he attended the celebrated masked ball organised by art collector Charles de Beistegui.

More recently, Dior and Hotel Cipriani collaborated on the Dioriviera pop-up and Il Bacaro Dior. Introduced at the hotel for the 2025 season, Il Bacaro Dior became the first Dior bar in Italy, pairing sunset aperitifs with interiors inspired by the Dioriviera collection.

The permanent spa expands this relationship from fashion, retail, and dining into wellness.
