The UEFA Nations League returns for the 2026/27 season, bringing Europe’s leading national teams together for another campaign of competitive international football. From September 2026, teams across UEFA’s four leagues will compete in the league phase, with the strongest sides progressing towards the knockout rounds and the UEFA Nations League Finals in 2027.
The top division, League A, features some of the biggest names in European football, including France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, England, Portugal, Croatia, Belgium, and defending champions Portugal. With home-and-away fixtures taking place across Europe, the tournament offers supporters the chance to experience major international matchups outside the traditional European Championship and World Cup calendar.
UEFA Nations League 2026/27 schedule
The league phase runs from 24 September to 17 November 2026, with national teams competing across six matchdays. League A then moves into its knockout stage in March 2027, followed by the UEFA Nations League Finals in June.
