The wider China Open tennis programme runs from 28 September to 11 October 2026, including qualifying before the main draws. The ATP 500 competition officially runs from 30 September to 6 October, while the WTA 1000 continues through 11 October. The men’s champion will be crowned on 6 October, followed by the women’s final on 11 October.
Matches take place on outdoor hard courts at the China National Tennis Center in Beijing. At the centre of the venue is the 15,000-seat Diamond Court, which hosts many of the tournament’s leading matches and provides the main stage for the biggest sessions of the event.
