The Masters Tournament

5 – 11 April 2027 | Augusta National Golf Club, USA

The Masters Tournament 2027 returns to Augusta National Golf Club from 5 to 11 April 2027, bringing the world’s leading golfers back to Georgia for one of the most prestigious events on the international golf calendar. As one of golf’s four major championships, the tournament shares the sport’s biggest stage with events such as The Open Championship, while its annual return to Augusta gives the tournament a character entirely of its own.

Unlike the other men’s major championships, The Masters returns to Augusta National every year, making the course and its traditions an essential part of the event itself. From the Wednesday Par 3 Contest to the pressure of the final round on Sunday, The Masters this year offers seven days of golf, tradition, and some of the most anticipated moments of the season.

Players to watch at The Masters 2027

The full field for The Masters Tournament 2027 will continue to develop as players qualify through the tournament’s various invitation criteria. Several major names have already secured their return to Augusta following strong performances at the 2026 Masters.

Defending champion Rory McIlroy will be among the headline names to follow, alongside Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Hideki Matsuyama, Jordan Spieth, Brooks Koepka, Justin Rose, Cameron Young, Sam Burns and other players who finished inside the top 12 at Augusta in 2026. Further qualifiers and the complete field will be confirmed closer to Masters Week.

Beyond the established names, attention will also turn to emerging players arriving in strong form and experienced contenders with proven records under pressure. Course management, accuracy into the greens and consistency across four demanding rounds often become decisive factors, especially as conditions change through the week. The mix of major champions, returning contenders and first-time qualifiers should create plenty of movement on the leaderboard, with form and confidence likely to play a major role as the field narrows toward the weekend.
